This April, our community had a sweet dilemma picking their favorite biscuit. Pink Wafers initially took the lead with their distinctive charm, but Jaffa Cakes have made a strong comeback, sharing the top spot as this month’s beloved biscuit.

Whether you’re team wafer or team Jaffa, we invite you to come by and enjoy these treats along with many other pantry essentials. We love seeing how our community’s tastes evolve and appreciate everyone who participates in making these little decisions with us.

Pantry Opening Hours:

• Monday: 10 AM – 4 PM
• Wednesday: 10 AM – 4 PM
• Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM

Visit us during these hours to pick up your favourite snacks and perhaps help us decide next month’s winner! Our doors are open to provide you with both pantry staples and those delightful treats that make any day a bit sweeter.

What is the Community Pantry?

We’re part of the Nourishing Norfolk Network, which is supported by Norfolk Community Foundation – https://www.norfolkfoundation.com/…/nourishing-norfolk/

Our Pantry is open to anyone in the NR28 postcode area, we sell discounted food and household goods and it’s not means tested. Shopping with us not only means that you’re making your money stretch further, but it also means that we can expand our product range faster.

We are not-for-profit which means that every penny you spend in the Pantry is reinvested back in.

Our opening times are 10-4pm Mon/Wed/Fri

Could you provide your excess fruit or vegetables if you have a glut in the garden or allotment? Or sow extra plants at the end of your row, for your Community Pantry? We’d love to talk to you!

Today we’ve received a lovely assortment of seeds in our Pantry order! What a wonderful surprise! If you’d like to support our community with fresh produce, please pop in and collect a packet of seeds!

Nourishing Norfolk is about ensuring no one in Norfolk goes hungry, and it’s also about Nourishing Norfolk with high quality, nutritious food so households can prepare healthy meals.  

Providing fresh fruit and vegetables plays a crucial role in this support, but it can be a challenge for food hubs to source produce affordably, locally and seasonally.   

Can you help by joining our Nourishing Norfolk growers?

• Provide your excess fruit or vegetables if you have a glut in the garden or allotment?  
• Sow extra plants at the end of your row, for your local food hub?
