Thanks to a generous £20,000 grant from North Walsham Community Shop, we have now completed the conversion of the former bank vault at the Phoenix Building into a dedicated recording studio space.
This funding was used entirely for essential building works, including:
- Structural alterations to adapt the vault space
- Specialist ventilation installation
- Acoustic insulation and soundproofing
- Electrical upgrades
- Fire safety adaptations
These works were necessary to ensure the space is safe, functional, and suitable for a future recording studio. The infrastructure is now in place thanks to the Community Shop’s support.
