We’re proud to share this update from our friends at Nourishing Norfolk. This week, their team tackled some big orders at the Nourishing Norfolk Warehouse. A huge thank you to Network Coordinator Billie Lawler, Programmes Advisor Jodie Lancashire-Clark, Corporate Giving Manager Sophie Berry, and Office Manager Karen Hutchinson for their extraordinary effort!

The warehouse space, generously donated by Norse Group, not only houses the supplies but also facilitates the distribution to all Nourishing Norfolk food hubs. This collaboration is crucial.

In just 11 days of operation in April, our Community Coffee Shop served an impressive 123 drinks! This wonderful space is blossoming into a vibrant hub where community members can gather, relax, and enjoy a variety of beverages without needing a Pantry membership.

Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or staying to enjoy a conversation, our doors are open to everyone. It’s a perfect spot to take a break, meet friends, or just enjoy some quiet time with a cup of your favorite drink.

Coffee Shop Opening Hours:

• Monday: 10 AM – 4 PM
• Wednesday: 10 AM – 4 PM
• Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM

Visit us during these hours – No membership required — just bring your smile and enjoy a cup with us!

Why are we talking about art? Why not! Art inspires, provokes thought, and brings people together—exactly what we aim to do in our Community Coffee Shop. Each month, we feature a unique piece of art to spark conversations and deepen our connection with the community.

Here’s what we chose: Wassily Kandinsky’s “Improvisation 28 (second version).” Created in 1912, this masterpiece of abstract art, housed at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, is a vibrant exploration of form and color that captivates and stimulates the imagination.
