We are dedicated to supporting our community by providing reduced-priced food and essential items through our social supermarket. As part of our mission to serve those in need effectively and responsibly, we have established certain criteria for membership.
The red area shows the coverage of the NR28 area.
The decision to limit membership to individuals residing in postcode NR28 was made after careful consideration and with several factors in mind:
Community Focus
Postcode NR28 encompasses a significant portion of our community, including 8,228 households and 17,724 individuals as per the 2021 Census. By focusing our resources initially on this area, we aim to make a tangible impact on the lives of our neighbors in need.
Practicality and Capacity
Starting with a specific postcode allows us to manage our resources efficiently and ensure that we can meet the demand for our services effectively. This approach enables us to maintain the quality and availability of goods for our members.
Initial Phase
It’s important to note that our decision to begin with postcode NR28 is part of an initial phase. As we grow and expand, we plan to reassess our reach and potentially include neighbouring postcodes to widen our impact.
While we have chosen postcode NR28 as our initial focus area, we recognise that there may be individuals outside this postcode who are also in need of assistance. We encourage those who do not reside within NR28 but require support to reach out to us directly.
We are committed to inclusivity and understand that circumstances vary for each individual. If you or someone you know does not reside in NR28 but requires assistance, please contact us. We have systems in place to consider exceptions based on extenuating circumstances such as income, health conditions, disabilities, and other factors.
At North Walsham Phoenix Group, transparency and community engagement are at the core of our operations. We are open to feedback, suggestions, and discussions with our community members.
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding our membership criteria, we invite you to reach out to us. Your input is valuable to us as we strive to improve and expand our services.
Thank you for being a part of North Walsham Phoenix Group. Together, we can make a positive difference to our community.
